| Subject: 2 issues to be answerd please!

Hi i will be applying for me citizenship soon i have been married for
9 years , my husband has been a citizen for more than 10 years we have
two US citizen children..
So which makes me eligiable to apply when i am 2 years & 9 months
which that will be the end of may '2008. My question is. on my temp.
visa the gave in Australia which was in my passport has August 30th,.
they gave that so i can enter the US. Then my green card came with the
issued date of September 7th 2008..Would my time frame for 2 years& 9
months be counted form Augus 30th or September 7th. Theres one week
difference ...like should i send my application may 30th instead of
june7th , should i go with the 1st date of issue they gave my on my
passport at Sydeny US embassy .. Theres only a week difference.??
Another question is when i apply for citizenship, can i go out the
country for a vacation while this is processing?
can someone enlighten me with this issue
