Hi all,

Having checked the FAQs, I've got a few quick questions about the I-485
form:

1) I'm in the US via a K1 visa - just wanted to check how I find my A#
number. Google suggests it's the one beginning with 'A' on my K1 visa
(or the matching benificiary number from the NOA2) - which would make
sense - but I thought it wise to check here!

2) Is there an 'offical' response to "Current USCIS status"? Otherwise
I'll just put something like "Legally in US via K1 visa".

3) Which bit of the K1 in my passport is my 'nonimmigrant visa number'?
(Google suggests that some other people have used the red 8-digit number
from the K1; is this right?)

4) Do I need to list my wife's natural children (i.e. my new
step-children) under part 3b - or do I just list my wife here plus any
of my natural children (i.e. 'none' in my case)?

5) For part 3b, do I put my wife's new surname (i.e. my surname) for
family name, or the surname she had prior to us getting married?
