You will not be surrendering your permanent resident card until
you take your oath of citizenship (until you are sworn in). USCIS
should not be lifting your card before then. Also, Once you are a
U.S. citizen, it is important that you travel on your U.S. passport
when traveling in and out of the United States. Good luck.
