Appearing for a H1-B visa interview without a current pay stub? Posted on: Tue, 29 Apr 2008 19:51:20 +0530

According to http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/h1b_and_l1_visas.html
a current/most recent pay stub is required. If someone is unemployed at
present can that impact his/her chances for getting
the H1-B visa? Also, how old(an estimate) can be the most recent paystub to
convince the visa official? Can someone please advise what can be done to
alleviate it other than looking for employment which I am doing at present?
Thanks
