I will be appearing for a H1-B visa interview soon starting from Oct 2008,
but am unemployed at present
at my home country because of a family member illness. Will my present
unemployment reduce my chances of getting the visa?

Also, how do the reference letters from my previously held positions need
to be drafted other than
mentioning my duration and skills used in the work place as they are
required for such interviews as supporting documents?

Can anybody please advise?
